Transitioning from military service to civilian life comes with a lot of decisions and for many Veterans, one of those decisions is whether to start a business.
The leadership, discipline, adaptability, and problem-solving skills developed in the military are the same qualities that help entrepreneurs succeed. If you've ever considered turning an idea, skill, or passion into a business, now may be the perfect time to explore entrepreneurship.
The good news? You don't have to navigate the journey alone.
The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) program, funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, provides no-cost training, counseling, and resources designed specifically for Veterans, transitioning service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses.
Whether you're still in uniform preparing for separation or already building your civilian career, programs like Boots to Business can help you evaluate business ownership, develop a plan, and connect with resources to move forward with confidence.
Your next mission could be building something of your own.
Connect with your local VBOC to learn more about Boots to Business training and the resources available to help you start, grow, and succeed in business. If you are in South Carolina or moving here, please reach out!
